Tips for days out with kids in Cyprus

Plan around the heat

From June to September, do outdoor sights early in the morning or after 17:00, and keep the middle of the day for the beach, a waterpark or an indoor museum.

Sun, water and shade

Many parks and ancient sites have little shade. Pack hats, sun cream and plenty of water, and look for places like Dasoudi or Akademia park where trees give cover.

Children on buses

Most Cyprus bus operators carry young children free and give teenagers and students about 50% off with ID. Age cut-offs differ by district, so check before you travel.

Check before you go

Waterparks, the Magic Dancing Waters and the luna park are seasonal, and opening hours change through the year. Each place page links to the official website.
