About Lara Bay turtle beach
Lara Bay is one of the most important turtle nesting beaches in the Mediterranean. Nests are protected by cages in summer, and a small conservation station has information boards for visitors.
There are no facilities: no sunbeds, shops or lifeguards. The beach is reached on a rough dirt track, so most families come by 4x4 or on a jeep safari.
