About Leventis Municipal Museum
The Leventis Municipal Museum is the history museum of Nicosia, housed in restored buildings in the Laiki Geitonia quarter just inside the Venetian walls. Displays run in time order, so older children can follow the city from its earliest finds through the medieval and Ottoman periods to the 20th century.
The museum runs workshops and family events from time to time, for example archaeology workshops for children aged 7 to 12. Check its website for the current programme.
