About Choirokoitia Neolithic settlement
Choirokoitia is one of the best-preserved Neolithic settlements in the eastern Mediterranean and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. People lived on this hillside from around the 7th millennium BC.
Near the entrance, archaeologists have rebuilt several round houses to show how the village looked. Children can step inside, then climb the path to see the real excavated foundations.
