About Limassol Castle

Limassol Castle stands in the old town a few minutes from the seafront. According to tradition, Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria of Navarre here in 1191.

Inside is the Cyprus Medieval Museum, with armour, coins, pottery and stone carvings. It is a cool, indoor stop that pairs well with time on the Molos promenade.
