About the village Treis Elies
Treis Elies has existed since the Middle Ages and was part of the royal estates in the Frankish period. It was the birthplace of Chrysanthos (1767–1810), Archbishop of Cyprus under Ottoman rule.
It is one of the smallest villages in this guide, a place for quiet walks and traditional guesthouses, with medieval stone bridges hidden in the surrounding forest.
