About the village Psematismenos
The area has been lived in since prehistoric times, and the village probably dates to the Byzantine period. It grows citrus, olives and carobs.
Its church of Agia Marina dates back to the 16th century. It was rebuilt in 1886, keeping many old frescoes in the sanctuary, and its iconostasis dates to 1850.
