About the village Odou
Odou’s name comes from odos, street: a main artery of the Roman road network of Cyprus passed through here. The settlement was founded later, but kept the name.
The village grows vegetables and is best known on the island for its flavoursome tomatoes. Its small wooden-roofed church of Agia Marina was founded in 1777.
