About the village Lemba
Lemba is one of the smallest communities in Cyprus. A Chalcolithic settlement at Lakkoi produced many finds, most famously the Lady of Lemba. Part of the settlement has been rebuilt as an experimental archaeology site.
In medieval times Lemba made glazed pottery and grew sugar cane. Today it has a fine-arts school, an archaeological research centre and a natural park with springs.
