About the village Pano Arodes

Pano Arodes sits on the Laona plateau, 23 km from Paphos. Its medieval name, Rhodes, came from the Knights of St John, whose headquarters were on Rhodes.

By the church of St Kalandion stand two stone sarcophagi. Legend says powder scraped from one, St Agapitikos, makes someone fall in love with you, while the other, St Misitikos, makes them hate you.
