About the village Agros

Agros sits at 1,100 metres in the Pitsilia region of Troodos, with panoramic forest views all around. The layout of the village resembles a theatre embraced by mountains, and it has kept its traditional character and customs.

It is famous for growing roses and for producing cured meats (sausages, lountza and hiromeri), homemade marmalades and sweets. Visitors can see rose distillation, sweet making and meat curing at the local workshops.
