About the village Polystypos
At 1,150 metres, Polystypos is one of the highest villages on the island. It is dotted with springs and streams, vineyards and wild vegetation, including an evergreen oak bush and a slow-growing, fragrant tree locals call “invisible”.
Its designated nature trail follows an ancient footpath through a forest of hazelnut trees, with three different starting points.
