About the village Miliou
Miliou is on the Laona plateau near the road from Paphos to Polis. Thanks to abundant spring water, it is one of the greenest villages in the area, surrounded by citrus, almonds and vines.
It took part in the Laona Project, an early agrotourism and rural regeneration scheme that restored its limestone houses. The monastery of Agioi Anargyroi, built in 1649, is named after two brothers who healed the sick without payment.
