About the village Foini
Foini is considered one of the most naturally beautiful places on the island, with a waterfall, pine thickets and forest. Its name may come from a Frankish lord, Juan de Fejniu, or from the palm tree (foinikas).
It produces fruit, wine and nuts, and is famous for traditional pottery, furniture making and its loukoumi (Cyprus delight).
