Protaras beaches and coastal walks
Choose a central beach and promenade outing, or make Konnos and Cape Greco a separate coastal excursion. Start with the amount of walking and the setting you want rather than trying to connect every bay on foot.

Protaras resort seafront, with Konnos as a separate option.
Half a day for one beach and a chosen promenade segment. This is an editorial allowance, excluding travel.
The central promenade is not a verified continuous walking route to Konnos.
Choose your coast

Fig Tree Bay
Choose the sandy resort bay for a beach-focused outing with facilities described by the tourism authority. Allow time to select an entrance and a suitable spot before settling in.
Read the Fig Tree Bay guide →
Central coastal promenade
The tourism map describes a promenade connecting Fig Tree Bay with the Agios Nikolaos fishing shelter area. Walk a segment that suits your group, leaving time for the return.

Konnos and Cape Greco
Choose this as a separate outing for a bay and marked nature walks. Account for the approach to Konnos and consult the shared Cape Greco guide for trail choices.

A central beach and walk
Spend the main part of your outing at Fig Tree Bay, then add a shorter promenade stroll if conditions suit. Decide when to turn back; a coastal path still requires energy for the return.
A separate nature outing
Konnos and Cape Greco deserve their own transport plan. Do not infer a continuous signed walk from the central resort to every bay. Choose one trailhead or beach entrance before using the bus or setting directions.
Facilities and mobility
Check facilities at the beach you actually choose. Seasonal assisted sea access described in tourism listings needs local confirmation. A beach access label does not establish that every promenade section or beach approach is suitable for all mobility needs.
Getting there: choose your transport
Bus
OSEA routes 101/102 cover the Ayia Napa–Konnos–Protaras corridor in opposite directions. Choose the stop for your actual beach or walking start, confirm the remaining approach and check the return timetable for your date.

Name the beach entrance or promenade start, and agree the pickup point. A one-way promenade walk requires a separate finish location; for Konnos, clarify the remaining descent from the drop-off.
Rental car
Park for the outing you choose and explore locally on foot. Fig Tree Bay’s tourism listing mentions parking; availability is not guaranteed. Use separate directions for Konnos and follow signed access rather than attempting a coast-wide driving circuit.

Questions about your visit
Should I visit every bay in one day?
Choose one main beach and an optional nearby walk. Konnos and Cape Greco work better as a separate planned outing.
Can I walk the whole promenade?
The official map describes more than four kilometres of promenade. Choose a manageable segment and allow for returning or transport from the finish.
