One collection, then a walk
Check the opening day of your preferred museum and build the outing around it. Afterwards, leave time for food and a shorter old-city stroll. Two large collections can make a tiring day when you also want to explore outside.
A flexible old-city outing
Start around Eleftheria Square and choose streets within the old-city area according to your interests. This is an editorial suggestion, not the tourism authority’s organised guided tour; check that tour separately if you want a booked guide.
Heat and entrances
Plan breaks and water for outdoor walking. Museum entrances, kerbs and old paving differ, so check the specific route if mobility matters. Museum closure days can differ from shop and café opening days.
